Nicola is an Australian born, South African raised, and now Vancouver-based, designer. She considers herself a citizen of the world and is hugely inspired by the places she's been. Taking in account the people and planet, Nicola chooses to use natural and deadstock fibres, producing high quality garments that will live a long life. With Beeld, her goal is not only to create beautiful pieces of art, but to make unique clothing that fit people well, giving them the comfort of expressing themselves through their clothes.
