Fashion designer: Pouneh Askarian, BA Fashion Design / London College of Fashion
As her first step in entering the fashion industry ,she enrolled in Fashion Design & Marketing program at Kwantlen University College (Vancouver, Canada) before moving to London to study at University of the arts, London College of Fashion and receiving her BA in Fashion Design.
In 2006, Pouneh Askarian presented her graduation collection inspired by Persian art and launched her label in 2007 in Canada.
Askarian’s design objective is minimalism and culture. Shifting from the East to the West, she always mixes multicultural touches and metropolitan cuts to create an exclusive collection.
Most of Pouneh Askarian’s Garments showcase strong cuts, wearable silhouette while still having a great touch to pay attention to details.
Her aim, “…to get inspired by the traditions in a modern life & deign for a contemporary woman who embraces different cultures”

Japanese Black & Beige
The main source of inspiration for this collection is coming from Japanese street style.
Stripes and 3d shapes have been mixed together in a glamorous was using unique pattern making techniques & minimal cuts.
The pieces are mainly in ever-present classics: Black, Beige and Grey colors
Most of the pieces have been design in a way suitable for both day/night.
In all of her collections, Askarian’s design objectives are noticeable: innovation, minimalism and culture.
