About the Designer:
After graduating from the Fashion Design & Technology program at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Allison Smith paid her dues in Montreal’s rag trade before starting Allison Wonderland in 1998 and Pillar in 2011. From a desire to create clothes for the way women really live, Allison creates go-to pieces often inspired by her favourite decade—the 70s. The result: clothes that exude both playfulness and effortless stye.
Allison adheres to the “slow fashion” point of view, creating new styles every season but with a quality and timelessness that means her pieces can be enjoyed for years.
Both lines are made in Vancouver. Allison lives in Vancouver’s Mount Pleasant neighbourhood with her common-law husband and their daughter.
About the Brand:

Born of designer Allison Smith’s desire to to explore designs for different lifestyles—and personal styles—Pillar offers up your perfect weekend wardrobe, ideal for chilling at your local coffeeshop with friends, walking on the beach, or hanging at the playground with your kid.
