MXN was created by Nune and Mariam Hovhannisyan and is currently owned equally by both creators. MXN will be a for-profit fashion brand of rocker chic apparel at wholesale bridge prices to retailers, with hopes to open their own retail brick and mortar locations with company growth and expansion. The product offering will initially consist of jackets and pant bottoms in classic, but edgy styles.
MXN’s mission is to be the next big bridge brand, to revolutionize eco-fashion on a high end level in the industry and to provide affordable ‘rocker chic’ apparel to the masses. Also, they would like to be the first company that our customers think of and go to for cool, classic pieces that are guilt free and to offer our customer the finest quality fashion merchandise in the upper-moderate to better price range.
MXN will be providing three types of garments twice a year.
The core collection will be white label tagged and will provide classic, but edgy pieces that will be provided in simple materials from season to season. This tag represents the finest quality recurring styles from MXN that the customer can depend on and repurchase as needed.
The trend based collection will be black label tagged and will provide fashions that are based on seasonal trends. These could include core collection pieces in trend driven fabrics or trend driven colors. These would also include new seasonal designs that are available for that specific season. All trend forecasting and fashion forecasting will be done from one of the world’s top trend forecasting services: WGSN.
The eco collections will be green label tagged and will provide fashion pieces that are made entirely out of repurposed materials, or from materials manufactured at alternative energy factories, or materials provided from local communities and tribes as a volunteer effort to help empower local tribes and communities that need funding. This would include 100% recycled materials from companies like Ecospun, Eco-fi and Brentano Green Fabrics. These garments are all made from materials with the lowest environmental impact, and no materials that are animal based. (For example, no cashmeres will be utilized since they contribute to the largest spread of desertification in China. No cottons will be used since the production, and dying of cotton contributes to 60% of the world’s water pollution. No leathers, skins or furs will be used. All manufacturing are domestic to prevent child labor.)
