Viktoria Tisza, Budapest based fashion designer launched her brand in 2012, mainly focusing on women’s swimwear. Since then she came out with 5 spring/summer collections, each summer widening the horizons of swimwear, extending the line to bodysuits and jumpsuits, applying exciting fabrics and designing pure forms with some futuristic flavour. In her latest two collections she has been experimenting with new technologies and she has created molded pieces of silicone rubber, a versatile material, that supports her sci-fi ambience concepts.
The brand has already been featured in British Vogue, Glamour UK and in almost all significant Hungarian fashion magazines. In 2015 Not Just A Label selected her to its Black Sheep category of innovative designers upon her collection CLONES. In the same year she designed on-stage bodysuits and dresses for Beyoncé and her dancers for her upcoming World Tour. She presented her latest S/S 2017 collection at Vancouver Fashion Week in September, 2016. Since then she has been invited to showcase one of her designs at London Fashion Week S/S 2018 in the framework of “Fashion for Conservation”, a campaign bringing wildlife protection into couture.
She showcases her upcoming F/W 2017 collection entitled “The Tie” at VFW. The signature material this time is as simple as a wool yarn that is later on crocheted, latch hooked and braided. Besides the cautiously handcrafted pieces some textile-based garments complete the looks. The core concept is about how to get rid of engagements when they result to be overwhelming and then how to restructure them.
